Japanese cuisine is not hard to find in Asia, specifically Taipei or Shanghai. I think it would be safe to say, since the 80′s – when Japan’s global reach was at its peak, culture, cuisine, and investments from the land of the rising sun. And, us non-Nippon’rs embraced this fascination with open arms. Many businessmen, not from Japan, opened up stores and restaurants to celebrate, or capitalize on this phenomenon.
