Sinbala, Arcadia
Yummy Taiwanese lunch in Arcadia. One of my old favorites. Beef noodle soup, chicken roll, pork belly on rice, and Japanese beef and onion. The beef and onion on rice is like the Yoshi Noya beef bowl. .

Pad Thai, chicken curry, shrimp rolls, and vegetables at Thai BBQ. Average Thai American restaurant. Noodles were too chewy and the chicken was tough. Not sure if there was suppose to be lemongrass, which was absent. Pretty sure I won’t return. Looks like like they were solid with their fried rice - which other patrons were ordering. Also, the majority of their menu was American style single plates. . . .
My drink, the Boiler Maker, at the Hudson during Happy Hour. Fried cauliflower and Mac’n cheese.
My in-laws favorite Hunan restaurant. So spicy! Pork belly, fish, chicken were good but almost tasted the same with the spicy.
Satisfying breakfast at Jenny’s Kitchen. Chilaquiles with a couple of over easy eggs and pork chili verde. With potatoes. Buddy had the same thing. Cool little place that looks like time has stopped with the classic photos.
Philadelphia Hoagies at Big Jo’s. Ate too much!
Dinner with friends at Sixth+Mill pizzeria. . . .
Cold and hot desserts at Blackball Desserts. But quite pricey. $7+ for that cup of ice with only two peanut rice balls. And $7+ for the hot desserts . . .
Hunan cuisine at Hunan Mao Restaurant. My favorite Hunan Restaurant in LA. Preserved pork, eggplant and green beans, pork belly, steamed spare rib with steamed cake . . .
Pho done easy. . . I choose to have chicken curry with a French roll. I really dig the bread dipping at Golden Deli . . . . . .
