Really good sandwich from All'Antico Vinaio

Really good sandwich from All’Antico Vinaio. This was the La Paradiso with Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio. This was their most popular sandwich. I first found and heard of this place through social media. I was drooling from the posts and sad that they weren’t nearby. .. . Later on, discovered that they had some locations in the US and in LA!!! Finally had the chance to check them out.

Though the sandwich was a little pricey - $18 each… I had to try it. While deciding, they said the La Paradiso was the most popular and they even gave us samples fo the unique pistachio cream spread to try. I was sold! Also, lately, I’ve been in the mood for Bologna! (yes, I know Bologna is not Mortadella - but same family - I have a friend who refuses to eat Bologna, hot dogs, and spam (but I will)).

Anyways, I digress… one of the key things about a good sandwich is the bread. They have this airy, fluffy, Idontknowwhatitis bread that ties everything together. It was just right, not too hard - to rip the top of your mouth, and not to soft - so that it falls apart. It was good!

I hope they open a location in DTLA and/or Pasadena. Fully recommend and would return. FYI - PARKING SUCKS in Koreatown… . . @allanticovinaiousa
