Marsalis, located in the 3rd floor lobby of the Home Hotel, is a Jazz/Whiskey Lounge. The combination of Jazz and Whiskey offers a refiner experience for the discerning.
With dozens of different whiskeys and scotches, Marsalis overwhelmed me with their fine selections. I had previously thought I had a decent knowledge of single malts and blended ones, but Marsalis takes it to another level. As part of The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society, Marsalis features a large selection of their exclusive collection. You’ll notice a special shelf with unique label denoting numbers that correspond to distilleries and age – all single malts!
Live Jazz is also featured at Marsalis. I have always said that live music is best listened to in small concert venues. A small 4 piece group would do nicely at Marsalis.
What could be better – some smooth Jazz and a great glass of scotch, both of which you’ll find at Marsalis.

Each of the special bottles has a limited release. They come from a special cask from each distillery.
Marsalis is also an intimate live Jazz venue. I personally think live music is best experienced in a small intimate setting - like Marsalis.
Its the little details that make all the difference.
Marsalis also features a couple of private rooms.
Check out this 32 year old scotch from the private owner’s collection. This has to be worth thousands of dollars.
