Silk Lounge, MPK (Closed)
I recently made a short trip back to the US, and one stop I knew I had to make was stopping by Silk Lounge. Not only as one of my favorite stomping grounds, I used to be one of the managers. You might say I’m a little biased, but who cares?
Silk Lounge is a neighborhood bar and lounge, that doesn’t have the feel of an ordinary local joint. As you enter through the top of parking structure, without valet parking (which is a good thing), you see the spacious roof top lounge. With the center fire pit dancing with the stars above, this natural ambiance creates the right mood. Yet, inside there’s more . . .plush lounge seating on both sides of the bar.
But I seem to always find myself outside in the candle lit private booths. Encounters, secluded by night, makes Silk Lounge ideal for dates. Intimate rendezvous’, glorious birthday’s, or a place to enjoy a good drink all happen at Silk Lounge.
With one of the largest selections of single malt scotch and cigars in the area, Silk Lounge is an ideal place to lounge like kings. Enjoy your time at Silk.
