My first experience at Chili’s was in high school, in Southern California. Back then, it was such a cool experience, different from fast food joints we were used to. Chili’s was the first type of sit down restaurant, that we, as high school kids, went to by ourselves. I remember it clearly, when we were dumb and young. I thought it was the cool thing to do. Unlimited sodas, blossom onion appetizer, and fajitas.

Though I had been to Chili’s in Taipei, years ago, I had recently made my way back with some old ex-colleagues. Chili’s is a treat for Taiwanese locals, since it is different from the standard burgers and pizza, that most locals will refer to as typical American fare. This Tex-Mex cuisine maintains the same menu as their US counterparts have.

Enjoy the pics!
