I would lay claim that I-Naba could stand on its own against some of the better Izakaya restaurants such as Musha, Honda-Ya, Izakaya Haru Ulala, and Katsu-Ya. But they don’t specialize in Izakaya – they are known for their soba noodles and tempura.

Our little group of four was able to take advantage of their full menu, including sushi, tempura, and soba. I remember that they offered some dry rub salt-like dip (for flavoring) for the tempura. Interesting touch. I could not thoroughly explain in detail everything I ate – from memory … so I will present I-Naba in its full glory through my picture slide show at the bottom.

What to Order: Tempura, Soba Noodles, and the Plumb Wine What not to Order: Sushi was average – nothing to write home about.
