Taiwanese Breakfast - rice porridge with little tasty accoutrements. Makes boring porridge more yummy. Pork floss, Japanese spicy dried garlic, seaweed paste, and wheat gluten with peanuts. Don’t know why they call it pork floss - it is dried shredded pork. . . . .

Taiwanese shaved ice - with condensed milk and soft boiled peanuts. Strange combination, but one of my secret favorite desserts. Too bad most shaved ice joints only offer preselected combinations. I like certain combinations like this one. This photograph doesn’t do justice to this yummy dessert! I can’t be the only one that likes this combination???? . . .
Hunan Chili King - one of better Hunan Restaurants in the SGV. Pork Belly and Taro, Spicy Chicken Feet, Preserved Pork and Tofu, Fish and Tofu Soup, and Stir Fried Spicy Intestine. The soup was very good, especially for a cold rainy night. . . .
