Old Log Cabin Distillery, Seattle

American Whiskey Maker - with their Cool tasting room with pretty good pizza from . They had few different old fashioned including a peanut butter banana, S’mores, strawberry cheesecake, and a toffee. I couldn’t decide what to get, since they sounds interesting - so I got a flight to try them all. Unfortunately, after the first 2 - they tasted similar since I was starting to get a buzz. I think it didn’t help, when I also ordered a flight of their whiskeys to taste, too. So 4 different old fashioned and 4 different whiskeys. It was a good night. Good to see some old friends in Seattle. Had a great time. Old log cabin was the perfect place to finish off the trip. . . .

Olympic Game Farm, Sequim

This unexpected detour from our outdoor adventure was really fun. We went to the Olympic Game Farm to visit retired show biz animals and rescued animals. We saw and fed bread to adorable yaks, mean lamas, bears, peacocks, bison, reindeer, elks, and a few others. We stayed in our cars and threw bread, which was sold by the park, to these guys. Some of them stuck their heads inside our car and wanted more. We saw peacocks showing off their feathers, had ameome animal tongues licking us for more bread, and poor rain deer running to us for the last pieces of bread - we should have gotten more loaves. It was an unexpectedly fun experience that brought the kid in us out. . . .

Bogachiel River, Washington

Bogachiel River rain forest. A nice 3 mile loop. I wasn’t planning to complete it but I passed the point of no return a long time ago, so I was begrudgingly forced to finish. Luckily I found a Gandalf wizard walking stick to help me along the way. This was a really cool trail with fallen logs along the trail. But there was mud pits every so often that I tried to avoid. We saw elk tracks here and there. But we didn’t see any animals. I think the animals heard me complaining. This nature hike might have been the best one yet. . . .

Olympic National Park

Some pics from my camping at Olympic National Park. Visited La Push Beach and Bogachiel river. The lichen trees was something to beholden. The beaches showed the power of Mother Nature with the driftwood. Beautiful and all natural. But chilly. Luckily we had no rain. Hikes were longer than I expected and yes I complained like a MF. Sorry. But no regrets. I am not an outdoorsy person, but I’m all about experiences. I’m glad we went now even though it was chilly - got to the low 30s, since it wasn’t crowded at all. Fun times, can’t wait for the next adventure! More photos to come. . . .
