Reuben and meatloaf at the am LA institution - unfortunately the Reuben (grislely) and meatloaf (carrots undercooked) was so-so. I should have gotten a simple breakfast.

Beef noodle soup 牛肉麵, minced pork noodles 雜醬麵, fried pork chop with rice 排骨飯, Beef ball soup 貢丸湯. Yummy classic Taiwanese dishes. The beef noodle soup is ordered by almost everyone. Enjoyed the hearty beef broth, which is so bad for my gout. The pork chop has. Nice crisp crunch with a bit of sweetness. So bad but so good. I think this is one of the better Taiwanese restaurants in the area.
Getty Villa - a few interesting pieces.
Getty Villa museum exterior. I dig the herb garden, vine covered walkway, and the outdoor forum.
The hot Italian and Austin blues sausage. Large fries with chipotle ketchup dipping sauce. DTLA favorite
Fish and fries at Malibu Seafood good price compared to San Marino seafood. Wonderful views and great fried fish. Ideal lunch spot before hitting the beach. A bit off the beaten path. I think it is a local hang out.
Seared ahi tuna sandwich! I thought this place was a bit pricey. I liked the sandwich. But wish i wish the ahi tuna was a tad thicker.
Best Breakfast Burrito in Southern California. Better than Lucky Boy. It’s all about the potato’s.
I really like fried chicken just enough spice in the Nashville style chicken and sweetness in the honey sweetened. But the regular spiced seemed a bit too salty. Otherwise it is a big winner! I liked the sides with the slaw, fries, and beans. The mint lemonade was very good too. I would definitely return.
12oz prime rib, lawry’s salad with roast beef, and a roast beef dip sandwich. Good pregame meal before the King’s game
