Shanghainese lunch at Yummy Rice. Funny name. One of the better shanghainese restaurants in LA. Braised pork was ok. Vegetable fried rice was good. The cold dish of cucumber and diced soy tofu was good. The spicy wontons and fried fish were even better. Recommend! . . . .
Soft Serve dessert at Honey Mee. Interesting. Not too sweet. Just right on a hot summer night. . . . .
Tonkatsu dinner at T.O.T. Restaurant in a Little Tokyo. Teishokuya of Tokyo - T.O.T. I remember the first time I went a long long time ago. We had the pork loin tonkatsu and a potato croquette. Also had a tuna bowl with udon. And couldn’t forget the fried chicken wings. Yum! . . . . .
Cookie that is a cup. Filling of soft serve or cream or milk or cold brew coffee. Cookie variants include cookies & cream, red velvet, chocolate chip, matcha, and others. Pretty good idea. I had the soft serve on this hot AF day. . . . . .
Happy Hour at RA Sushi Bar Restaurant. Uni Sea Urchin. . . . . .
SOul Spicy Noodles. 🌶 instant noodles from Taiwan 🇹🇼 tasty and good. . . . . .
Chuan Chuan in LA at JiouDing Hot Pot. Spicy as hell. One of the most uncomfortable meals, but I can’t wait to try it again. 🤪 imagine this - you go pick a bunch of skewers of meats and vegetables. Then they take them and return them in a cauldron of hot spicy flavorful oil. Then you snack on each of the skewers after a quick dip in garlic oil. We had 52 skewers at $0.39 a skewer. Make sure you get the plum juice. Yum! Unlike anything I’ve ever had. Even in China! . . . . .
Wife’s favorite type of noodles. Noodle Kang in Arcadia.
Chinese hot pot at little sheep in San Gabriel. Lamb, beef, and pork. All you can eat. Wifey had a craving for spicy hot pot after booze cruise. Loved the spongey tofu and napa cabbage. . . . .
